The headquarters and R&D center of Powermaster Marine are located in Shanghai. There is a group of technical staff full of scientific research enthusiasm, vitality and team spirit. Their professional fields cover multiple disciplines such as propellers and hydropower, mechanical structure, hydraulics, electrical automation, simulation analysis and ship overall. Powermaster Marine adheres to a technology-first approach to provide customers with high-quality ship hydrodynamic consulting, design, optimization and verification services, and provides high-performance hydrodynamic products. During the project consultation phase, Powermaster Marine can quickly respond to customer requirements and provide reliable and accurate design solutions based on technical input information. During the project design phase, after years of accumulation, the company has formed a set of self-developed software that is streamlined and standardized and can realize ship-engine propeller matching, speed forecast, thrust forecast, propeller map design, theoretical method design, strength check, geometric modeling and many other functions.
Beihao's technical team has mastered core key technologies such as hydrodynamic design core technology, modular and lightweight structural design core technology, gear design core technology, lubrication technology, sealing system design technology, rotary drive control technology, propulsion control technology, and ice-breaking thruster design technology. After years of accumulation of engineering experience, it has rich technical accumulation and experience in the technical research and development of high-power counter-rotating all-rotation thruster products to actual ship applications, high-power ice-breaking pod thrusters, immersed jet thrusters, etc.

Beihao Ship R&D Center is located in Lingang Xinye Square, Baoshan District, Shanghai. Beihao's R&D team has more than 60 people. The technical majors mainly include shipbuilding, hydrodynamic research, automation, mechanical hydraulic design, digital simulation, etc. The R&D team members all have a bachelor's degree or above, of which more than 45% have a master's degree or above, and nearly 10% have a doctorate or above. They have high-level technical research capabilities and experience in major scientific research engineering projects. Beihao has cultivated a team of high-quality hydrodynamic talents, independently developed and equipped high-performance hydrodynamic software and hardware facilities, and cooperated with internationally renowned test pools and universities to provide customers with high-quality ship hydrodynamic consulting, design, optimization and verification services.
