Hefei Powermaster Marine Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. was established

♦ The azimuthing thruster was selected as an exhibit for the Anhui Innovation and Technology Achievement Exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up.

♦ The 2000KW azimuthing thruster (medium power class) has been successfully developed and applied.

♦ The design of the 7700KW contra-rotating thruster (high power class) has passed dual classification society certification by CCS (China Classification Society) and DNV-GL.

♦ New products such as the 9MW/PC2 ice-class azimuthing thruster (ice-breaking technology / high power class) have been developed.

♦ Phase I of the Hefei factory has been completed and put into operation, capable of assembly and commissioning of thrusters up to 12000KW.

Powermaster Marine has grown into a top domestic enterprise specializing in the R&D and manufacturing of special thrusters. It is fully equipped to compete with world-class thruster suppliers. Mechanically-driven azimuthing thrusters and podded azimuthing thrusters for high ice-class regions have been deployed on actual vessels, helping China’s marine equipment industry achieve leapfrog development.
